Hello Year 3!
Welcome to our 'Remote Learning' page!
This is the place to come to check out the lessons I have ready for you, and to find information about planned Zoom meetings. Also, further down, you'll find additional resources to support your online learning.
THE DAILY PLAN: (Monday to Friday)
10.15: 1st Zoom call: Registration, Plan for the Day & English or Maths skills

1.15 - 2nd Zoom call:

(Zooms will last 25 minutes)
Other Zoom Calls:
I may arrange Zoom calls to give extra support, but will message you on Class Dojo to confirm this.
Fri- No Zoom call. I will be looking through your work and marking.
Middle of the Day:
- Complete your daily English and Maths tasks
- Complete any additional tasks linked to other subjects
- Practise your weekly spellings (then test on Fridays)
- Check out the additional learning links lower down this page.
Also, remember that you need to send me evidence that you have completed the tasks. Use the ClassDojo Portfolio on your pupil account to upload photos, drawings, text files etc.
Adults: You can access your child's account using your app and changing to your child's avatar in the drop-down menu.

This week's learning tasks, links & help videos (if needed):
Have a go at your 1st Pobble task; watch the maths video and then do the maths worksheet; check out "Epic Reading"; watch the video lesson about "Forces".
Day 2 of the Pobble writing, try the maths video and task too. Check out the activity showing how we can measure forces, and use the Reading Tree and Rockstars sites to boost your other skills.
Continue your work with the 8 times table, and try part 3 of the Pobble writing challenge. Learn about Contact Forces in Sciences, and do some more Epic Reading. Don't forget, to help our school score in the St Bart's league!
Recap work on the 2s, 4s and your recent work on the 8s. Remember to use the video to help you to do the worksheet. In writing, Pobble task 4 and learn about non-contact forces in Science.
Comparing statements is not as tricky as it sounds, in maths. Use the 'DK Find Out' site to learn more aboue "Forces" (just use the search option there). Finish the week with some more EPIC reading, boost your Numbots level and get some more Rockstar points for our school.
