What is STEM?

STEM stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Why is it important?

It is a part of all of our lives, everyday. STEM builds on and encourages problem solving skills; STEM instills creativity; STEM gives children a career edge later on in life. STEM has impact!

Check out this awesome 'Engineers' animation and song to the left to see why Engineering is such an important element of STEM!

STEM at our school!

We are super lucky at Nantwich Primary Academy to have our very own STEM Den! Each class visits the STEM Den every two weeks and practices their engineering habits of mind and problem solving skills!
