This half term we will be continuing with our work on The Good Thieves by Katherine Rundell. What an exciting book it is!
Vita has made new friends in New York and has visited the circus at the Carnegie Hall. Now all she has to do is retrieve the emerald from the clutches of the evil Sorrotore.
We will be doing some lovely descriptive writing of a Speakeasy as well as beginning some work on a newspaper report. How exciting!
In maths, we will be spending some time on our basic skills as well as working on algebra, decimals and percentages.
We will be practising our fluency with our Daily Decimal challenge as well as continuing to secure our knowledge of Times Tables with our Times Table Rock Stars.
Our daily SODA activity will also keep our mental maths skills sharp.
We will be continuing our Road Trip around the United States, with a trip to Florida before moving across the country towards the Pacific. On the way we will visit the Great Lakes and Chicago and taking a drive along the Oregon trail.
